The planning area covers approximately 13 hectares and is located in the rural area of the municipality of Woensdrecht. Solar Park Agger is one of the four selected projects invited to proceed with further design. In August 2023, the Council of State ruled that the permit had been rightfully issued. LC Energy is commencing preparations for construction and hopes that the park can be operational by the end of 2024.

Remarks
The planning area is situated east of the Agger, an ecological corridor, and west of Woensdrecht. Because the solar park is located next to an ecological corridor, there are good opportunities to enhance natural values. LC Energy plans to use transparent solar panels, allowing plants under and between the panels to receive more light. Through consultation with nature organizations, we aim to achieve a significant improvement in the quality of nature.
