The planning area is approximately 13 hectares in size and is located in the rural area of the Hoogenweg neighborhood, just east of the core of Hardenberg. The solar park has been generating electricity since December 2021.

Remarks
The solar park is situated between two watercourses and the Westeindigerdijk. Along this road towards Radewijk, there are several recreational facilities, such as Minicamping De Ezelhof and De Vijvertuinen van Ada Hofman. The Almelo – De Haandrik Canal lies within a dyke and borders the planning area to the northwest. Along the canal is the dirt road Kanaalweg-Oost. To the west of the canal is the Baalderveld neighborhood of Hardenberg. The Radewijkerbeek flows along the southern side of the planning area, with several detached houses on the east side along the Volle Urenweg. The park fits into the Dutch nature network and serves as the missing link in the ecological main structure.
